Privacy notice
This is a one-page site advertising a single holiday rental. It has no booking form, no accounts and no payments — everything of that sort happens on Airbnb. What follows is the whole of what it does with information about you.
Who runs this site
Annisquam Getaway is a privately let holiday home in Gloucester, Massachusetts, run by its owner, Tom. The quickest way to reach him is through the message thread on the Airbnb listing, which is also where booking, payment and all other correspondence take place.
What this site collects from you directly
Nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no login and no comment box. There is nowhere on this site to type anything, so there is nothing for it to store.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see roughly how people arrive — which search or link brought them, and which parts of the page they read. It tells the owner whether the site is worth keeping. It is not used for advertising, and the data is not sold or shared with anyone beyond Google as the provider.
No analytics cookies are set unless you accept them. Google Analytics loads with storage switched off and stays that way until you choose otherwise. If you accept, it sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, which distinguish one browser from another so repeat visits are not counted as new people. They last up to two years and contain a random identifier, not your name.
If you decline, nothing is stored and nothing is recorded. The site works identically either way.
Your choice
You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving. This takes effect immediately:

Photographs and links to Airbnb
Every button on this site links out to the Airbnb listing. Once you follow one, you are on Airbnb and their privacy policy applies, not this one. The photographs on this page are currently served from Airbnb’s image servers, but they are fetched by this site rather than by your browser, so visiting this page does not tell Airbnb anything about you.
What is not here
No advertising or tracking pixels, no social media embeds, no cross-site profiling, no fingerprinting, and no sale of data to anybody. Beyond the analytics described above, this site holds no personal information at all.
Your rights
Where UK or EU data protection law applies to you, you have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to complain to a supervisory authority — the ICO in the UK. In practice, declining analytics above leaves nothing to exercise those rights over. Requests can be made through the Airbnb message thread.
Changes
If this site gains a booking flow or anything else that handles your information, this notice will be updated before that goes live.
